Two honest things before you touch a single prompt.

First: there is no official LinkedIn MCP. LinkedIn hasn't published one. Every connector that lets Claude read or write to LinkedIn is third-party. Some are great, some are fragile, some will get your account flagged. Pick carefully.

Second: these prompts assume a two-layer stack.

The connector in the middle is what lets Claude read LinkedIn data so it can do smart thinking about real prospects. You still need SalesRobot underneath to act on LinkedIn safely at scale. Don't let any connector try to both read and send at high volume from your personal account — that's how people get banned.

Here are the three paths, ranked by how close they match "set this up in one afternoon."

Path 1: Claude Cowork + ConnectSafely MCP (recommended for most GTM leaders)

Pick this if: You want the least technical setup, you already have Claude Max, and you want something built specifically for LinkedIn lead gen.

What you'll need:

Setup:

  1. If you don't have it already, upgrade to Claude Max and open Claude Cowork on desktop (Mac or Windows).
  2. Sign up at connectsafely.ai and connect your LinkedIn through their secure OAuth flow. No browser extension, no cookies to copy.
  3. In Claude Cowork, open Settings → Connectors → Browse Connectors and add ConnectSafely as an MCP connector.
  4. Test it by asking Claude: "Pull the LinkedIn profile for [your own URL] and summarize it." If it returns your own profile details, you're connected.
  5. Log into SalesRobot in a separate tab. This is where you'll push finished sequences and run actual outreach.
