Segment Into Two Outreach Buckets
This is simple but essential. You're splitting your enriched list into two groups because each needs a different channel.
Bucket A — "Account Recovered" (LinkedIn campaign)
- Filter: Account Status = Active + LinkedIn URL exists
- These people got burned by a competitor, recovered their LinkedIn account, and are back on the platform
- They can receive LinkedIn connection requests and DMs
- Outreach channel: SalesRobot (LinkedIn)
- Messaging angle: "I know you had a rough experience — here's why it won't happen with us"
Bucket B — "Still Banned / No LinkedIn" (Email campaign)
- Filter: Account Status = Inactive OR no LinkedIn URL found, BUT verified email exists
- These people are still locked out of LinkedIn or can't be reached there
- Outreach channel: Smartlead (email)
- Messaging angle: Even stronger here — "You lost your LinkedIn account because of a tool that wasn't built safely. We can get you back in the game."
In Clay, tag each row with "Bucket A" or "Bucket B" using a formula or AI command column. Then push each bucket to its respective outreach tool.
